APPEAL
Ladies & Gentleman,
We are very thankful to you for your interest in the development
of the visually impaired. We pray to god for your well-being
and happiness.
The biggest problem faced by blind people is to earn their
living, reason being their inability to perform specific
tasks due to their unfortunate hindrance. So many blind
people want to work but fail to get any work place from
where they can earn something. It is not that they are
unable to work but it is because that they are not provided
opportunity.
But, we here, here proposed a solution to solve this problem
by running a work shop where blind people will make articles
like 1. candles, 2. envelopes, 3. dona (paper plates),
and 4. chalk. We will then give it to other blind persons
who will then sell these articles in buses, trains or
other public places, we will ourselves also approach companies/institutions/individuals
to purchase these articles.
In this way so many blind people can earn their livelihood
as some of them will be engaged in production, some in
packing and some in sealing.
This is just an idea which needs to be implemented for
bringing economic stability in the lives of the poor blind.
It is only generous people and institutions like you who
can make this dream come true. You can come forward and
donate equipments like Candle making dies, Envelope punching
machine and raw material like wax, paper sheets etc which
are essential for production of the above mentioned articles.
We have ourselves gathered information about the cost
of machinery and found that Rs 2 lacs will serve the purpose
initially and then as the work progresses with blessings
of god and support of generous people like you we can
expand even more, so as to provide more and more opportunities
for the blind.
In addition to machinery & raw-material expenses we
will also be requiring an expansion of our building which
is essential for production activity. The estimated budget
of construction is Rs. 2 lacs. But this expenditure will
serve the visually handicapped eternally.
We request you to extend your co-operation to us by sponsoring
entire/part project. You can even help us by providing
building material like cement, bricks, steel etc. for
the worthy cause. You can also help by becoming a regular
supplier of raw-material or by paying the maintenance
expenses of machinery and other equipments.
Any big/small contribution from your side will help the
blind persons to step further towards success in their
life. We hope you will certainly consider our request
sympathetically.
